The
cueca
chilota
preserves
the
choreographic
structure
of
other
cuecas
executed
along
Chile.
Nevertheless,
the
music
is
characterized
by
the
absence
of
the
quatrain
or
initial
couplet
and
the
steps
differ
a
bit.
This
one
shaped
by
four
and
five
verses
that
accompany
the
dancers
in
his(her,your)
dance.
The
singer
interprets
the
cueca
with
harmonious
shouts
("trilled"
in
popular
language)
trying
to
stand
out
for
on
the
instruments
and
to
the
boisterous
happiness
of
the
assistants(attendees)
to
the
holiday(party).
The
dancers
to
the
compass
of
the
bass-drum,
combine
short
steps
with
a
stocky
tapping,
marking
with
the
whole
plant(floor)
of
the
feet. |
