It is one of the dances more ancient of Chiloé, direct descendant from the Spanish seguidilla. Still(yet) she(it) is danced in the big island and his(her, your) agile pace in the guitar is in the habit of being accompanied of bass-drum and box.

His(Her,Your) wretched step and sometimes golpeadito, he(she) persists across the whole dance with an alive(vivacious) intention of holiday(party).

It is a dance of free and independent pair(couple) who understands(includes) three feet. His(her, your) simple choreography consists of the following figures:

1.-Both dancers describe one "S" of going and return, going out for the right and returning to his(her, your) place. The woman dances with a hand in the waist and with another capture lightly the skirt, first with the right and then with the left side, while the man supports his(her, your) two hands after the waist.
2.-They dance to the center in an imaginary semicircle.
3.-Then they separate and return to his(her, your) original position.
4.-They turn in his(her, your) place and change side....
5.-And finally they finish off to the center.

Immediately they are prepared for the second foot, which is equal to the previous one.
